Addiction is more common than we may think among our youth and their families.  Recognize your own biases about addiction, learn to recognize clues that a youth is concerned about addiction, get some ideas of how to listen and what to do for youth who have addictions or have loved ones with addictions, consider how our UU values inform our actions, and gain some techniques, tips, and resources to help youth, including during times of crisis.
Webinar: Lay Pastoral Ministry Series

Considering A Lay Pastoral Care Program? This is a three part webinar exploring ideas and possibilities for a lay pastoral ministry in our congregations presented by Revs. Lois…and Peg.

October 23, 2014 First Session: Setting Up Your Program. We will review some of the major questions and concepts you will want to consider in setting up a lay pastoral program.
